Will CMS be creating a new bundled HCPCS Level II code for Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs) plus supplies and insulin pumps plus supplies? If not, will suppliers use the existing HCPCS Level II codes for the device as the monthly bundle?

The Medicare Part B payment methodology for HCPCS Level II codes E0784, E2102, and E2103 for insulin pumps and CGMs will change to bundled monthly rental payments effective January 1, 2028, or the date the DMEPOS CBP contract performance period for class II CGMs and insulin pumps begins. HCPCS Level II codes E0784, E2102, and E2103 will continue to be used for Medicare billing purposes, but payment will now be on a bundled monthly rental basis.
