You must maintain accurate information on your CMS-855S enrollment application with the National Supplier Clearinghouse (NSC) and in the Provider Enrollment, Chain, and Ownership System (PECOS) at all times. During registration, bidding, and bid evaluation, your information in the Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS) Bidding System, DBidS, and Connexion, the program’s secure portal, will be validated with PECOS data. As a result, you must log into the CMS IDM System in order to make updates to your role(s) and email address.

Update Email Address
- From the CBIC website, click Phases in the top navigation bar.
- Click Registration.
- Click Visit CMS IDM System.
- Enter your CMS IDM System user ID and password, check the box to agree to the terms and conditions, and click the Sign In button. Follow the verification instructions.
- Click the My Profile button located on the Self Service Dashboard. The My Profile window appears.
- Click the Personal Contact Information button. The Personal Contact Information window appears.
- With the Personal Contact Information window open, click the Edit button. The Personal Contact Information becomes modifiable.
- Make the desired changes to email address and then click the Submit Changes button. The screen refreshes and the Personal Contact Information window displays the updated information.
